~e Commission then proceeded as an Equalizing Board to hear any complaints or
objections that might be offered on the Proposed paving of the following:
Widening State Road No. 3 from Katie Street south and southwesterly to City Limits
from 18 feet to 30 feet in width, with macadam base surface treated.
There were no objections filed except the following:
Mr J E Spurling came before the Co~uission and made some objections as to the above
asse~sment, and after due consideration of the matter, on motion duly adopted the assess-
merit was con£irmed,except as to the additional cost due to a double intersection at the
corner of State Road No. 3 and Geneva Street, which additional cost, the City Engineer was
instructed to deduct from the total of the original assessment against the property abutti~i
the said Highway, and charge said amount to the City of Sanford.
