Communication from Ben C Cantwell acknowledging Wedding Gift from the City read and
filed.
Co~mntmication from Fred T Williams to State Highway Departme~,~ read for information
and filed.
City [~[anafer reported, on Estimate on cost of construction of four concrete tennis coif
courts ~,]J30.OO. Also submitted a communication from City Zianager of Daytona Beach
showinS esti~kxted cost of four tennis courts composed of marl ~ ~350.00
and on motion duly adopted the City ~.,~ana~er was authorized to visit Daytona Beach, Ormond
and other points taking with him Rev. Mortimer Glover and ~'r L B Hollar as a committee
to investigate this matter and report.
The City L'anager reported that about 1~5 properties in Georget~rn had not made con-
nection to sewer owing to financial inability of the owners, and the l~anager recommended
that the City assist them by giving them time to pay the City for sewer connections, thus
saving the City the expense of ni~nt wagon service in this section. This matter was
referred to the City ? ~-, · ,
~.a~,a~,er for further action,ant_ to make the best arrangements with
plumbers, possible.
City Engineer submitted plans for improvements on the property of the Holy Cross
Church and requested of the City the privilege of constructing a covered archway over th.
City alley lying between the Church and the proposed Parish House, when same is built.
On motion same was approved.
Co~:z~issioner S 0 Chase introduced Paving Resolution ~3~1, entitled:

of 3entral Street from
~eaaz Ave. to Lake Ave, a width of 2[~ feet."
and moved that same be adopted.
By the afi'irmative vote of the City Co~mnissioners, said Resolution was ~m~animously
passed and adopted.
City Engineer submitted Quit Claim Deed from John i.[eisch and wife to the City
for tis'hr-of-way for Seminole Boulevard and certain streeSs thru their property lying on
lake front between Jessamine Ave and Tamarind Ave. extended. And same was accepted and
filed for record.
Upon motion duly adopted the Clerk was authorized to cancel the following taxes
on 1926 Tax Roll, same appearing to have been assessed in error.
