Co~muissioner S 0 Chase offered the following Resolution ~355 :
V~HEREAS, the City of Sanford, Florida is endeavoring to re-adjust its financial

affairs, and
;'~-tEREAS, at the moment the City cannot definitely determine what cash it will have
available during the next several months, and
¥~EREA$, a monthly indebtedness is incurred by the City of Sanford, Florida, with
the Florid~ Power & ~ght Con. any for the furnishin~ of electric current to the City of
Ss.nford, Florida, and
'i%~{EREAS, the Florida Pov:er & Light Co:upany has generously offered to aid the City cf
Sanford, Florida in this time of emergency by not insisting upon the payment of current billidue
for electric current and bills to become due during the next
BE IT RESOLVED, that the offer so generously made by
be and th~ same is hereby accepted and,

the Florida Power & Light Company
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the monthly bills hereafter rendered for the next several
months , ~oon receipt of same, be duly audited and ~oproved for payment and that said bills
when so audited and approved for payment shall be returned to the Florida Power & Light Company
with a certificate executed on the part of the City of Sanford, by the City Cozm'nission of the
City of Sanford, Florida , acknowledging its indebtedness to the Florida Power ~ Light
Company, as Bhown by any bills renderedduly audited and approved for payment, obligating
itself to pay the said bills from the first funds available for said purposes.

?~HEREAS, the City Auditor and Clerk of the City of Sanford, Florida,
advises that
there is the sum of $~,555.11 in the Bond Fund Account in the First National B~m~k of
Sanford on deposit as a savings account, and
7~HEREAS, it is necessary for the City to ex/pend a portion or all of said bond
fund account on deposit in the savings account of the First I,!ational Bank for purposes'
authorized in the issuance of said bonds, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED that the First National Bank of Sauford be directed to transfer the:
funds of the City of Sanford Florida, ~ond fund account, now on deposit in the savings
department of the First National Bank of Sanford, to the bond fund checki~-~ account.
BE IT FURTHER RESCL7ED, that ~ certified copy of this resolutionbe furnished the
First I~ational Bahk of Sanford for its authority for making said transfer of funds from
