The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida met in adjourned session at
Hall in Sanford Florida at two O'Clock P i,~ on August 30th 1927.

the ~{unicipal Judge, paroles were given to ~V J Hopkins and Fran~
~ith regard to the proposition of A P Haggard of the City Engineering Department for
the financing of the completion of the City,s pavin~ program, the City Attorney, in a letter
to the City Co~mmission recommended that nothing be done about the matter until the completion
of the audit of the City,s books, which recon~endation was adopted by the City Commission.
Mr ~ F Robinson appeared before the Commission and requested a reduction in the asses
ment of taxes against Lots 7,~,9 and l0 Block 4 Tier l, for the year 1926-_~
The ,ratter was referred to the City Attorney to de~ermine whether a tax assessment could be
legally reduced after equalization.
The Tax Co~mmission met with the City Co~ission and requested more time to consider
the complaints made against valuation of property for the next fiscal year. The tax Com-
mission agreed to meet with the City Commission at the City Hall at Three O'Clock P M on
Thursday, September 1st 1927.
Hr S G Gray, of the firm of Hall & Pentland, Auditors, met with!.the Commissioners
and discussed with them the budget for the next fiscal year.
On motion d~ly made and carried, the meeti~ adjourned until Two O'Clock P M on
September 1st. 1927.
