the City of Sanford Florida met in regular session on
City Hall, Sanford Florida.

C Hill, Acting as Mayor, by request of
1.{inutes of meeting of November 2nd read and approved.
Mr E H Ashcraft, Receiver for Seminole County Bank came before the Commission relative
to certain accou~s pertaining to the Sanford Yacht Club.House, and after discussion the
Commission requested ~r Ashcraft to hold the matter over ~util the next meeti~ of the
City Commission.
Communication from City Attorney Re: Claim of J E Estridge on account Child bitten
by monkey at Zunicipal Zoo, and recommendi~ that the City pay Mr Estridge the sum of $250.00
in full settlement of all claims and demands against the City.
On motion duly adopted the recommendation of the City Attorney was approved, and
the Clerk authorized to draw a check in favor of ~r Estrid~e to cover amount named.
Oo~nmunication from ~rs F K Smith et al Re: damage to trees in the moving of Mr
W A Zachary's house read and referred to the City Attorney.
Co~munica$ion from Co~any D 12~th Infantry , Florida National Guard requesting that
the Post be furnished with City water free, was read and after due discussion, on motion
duly adopted the City Manager was authorized to comply with the request.
The Clerk then submitted the following petitions:
Petition from qualified voters to have the name of 0 P Herndon placed on th~ official
ballot for City Co~missioner at the General Municipal Election to be held on December 6th,
192Y.
Petition from qualified voters to have the name of Frank L Miller placed upon the
official ballot for City Co~m~issioner at the General l,[unicipal Election to be held on Dec.
~th. 192Y.
Petition from qualic.ed voters to have the name of H R Stevens placed ~oon the Officiil
Ballot for City Co~nissioner at the General ~lunicipal Election to be held on December 6th.192?
On motion duly adopted the above petitions were accepted and ordered filed.
Report of the City ~anager for October was submitted and ordered filed.
The c'~rrent bills as audited by the Accounting Department were submitted and duly
examined and approved, and the Clerk authorized to d-raw checks to pay sa;ne.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
