of a res~lar meeting held on November 14, 192~ which were approved.

City's busine~s was read by the Co~m~ission by the Oity Clerk, vd~o advised the Co~m~nission that
he had written the Bank a le~e~, sending them a copy of t~a City Charter calling to their
a,~e~.t~on the pa. aoraph in the Charter p~rtaining to the matter in question.

questing advice as to when he ~uld expect payment cz a ~1 for $]'33.J, 3 representing pipe or-
dered by the City for the use of Hulick & ~iulick in connection with the water sprinkling system
installed around Hotel Fo,'rest ~ake prior to its ~:',~, ~

matter , the claim was referred to 4he City Attorney for investigation.
~[r S R D~gnton appeared before the Cm;m;~ss~on in behalf of Zhe Oh~uber of Com~erce
requesting the Commission to pass an ordinance requiring all automobile o%~ers _esmm~ng ~n the
City of Sanford to display on their cars a name plate bearing the name of the City, together
with the n=uber. After a short discussion of the matter, the City Attorr~y was instructed to
~n estz~te the legality of the s~e
Mr E L Markell, Commodore of the Sanford Yacht Club ~nd L[r E H Ashcraft, Receiver
of the ~e,knole County Bank, and others , a._ a~ed before the Commission with

incebtedness incurred by the Yacht Club for the construction ~ff its building, which it ,:~as
understood was to be ass~=:.ed and paid by the City of Sanfford, Florida, requesting the City
to Acknowledge liability for bills thus incurred. ~ne City Attorney was called upon for an
opinion and advised the Commission that he did not consider the claim as presented by i~r Ashcra~t
and Uo~mnodo,'e ~arkell a valid claim ~oa~t the City of ua~or~. Florida, and suggested a plan
whereby the City could for a present consideration ourchase the Yacht Club property under She

~e City attorney announced that he had not completed fully the draft of the proposed
bonding resolution authorizing the issuance of bx~ds trader the refinancing plato of the City
of Sa~ord, Florida, statir~ that the legal draft of the necessary bonding resolution would be
ready for c~nsideraticn by the Oo:.u~ission at 12 O'Clock Noon on Wednesday .~November 30, 192~.
Thereupon a recess was taken until Uednesday, L'ovember 30, 1927, at 12 $'Clock
