120627-Special Meeting2 'MINUTES Special Meeti _ tpeoe er.� 6 at .2 P ,.M _ 27 CITY CJC1�11►11SMOK 9AMFORQ FLORIDA, 19 The City Commission of the City of Sanford Florida met in Special Session at the City Hall in Sanford Florida on December 6, 1927 at 2 :00 P M Present: Commissioner E F,Housholder,,( Mayor) " S 0 Chase City Attorney , George A DeCottes City Manager, W B Williams City Clerk, L R Philips Absent: Commissioner W C Hill Commissioner S 0 Chase Introduced Ordinance #149 entitled: " AN ORDINANCE IMPOSING CERTAIN'LICENSE TARNS," and moved that same be placed upon Its first reading and fead in full. Said motion prev-ailed by unanimous vote of the City Commissioner1 .,'Thereupan said ordinance was placed upon its lirot reading and read in full. Thereupon Commissioner Chase moved that the rules be waived and said ordinance be placed upon its second reading and final passage, which- motion was duly seconded. The question was then put on a waiver of -tht rules and the roll was called upon a waiver of the rules. Those voting in favor 'of the waiver of the rules were: Commissioner E F Housholder and Commissioner-S-0 Chase. Those voting against the waiver of the rules were Commissioners lone Thereupon the question recurred upon the motion to place said ordinance upon its second reading and final passage, which motion prevailed by the .unanimous vote of the City Commission. Thereupon said ordinance was placed upon its second reading . and read in full. �-y Upon the reading of said ordinance the:roll Ras called,*on the question of the adoption of same. Those voting in favor of the adoption of said ordinance were.: Commissioners S O Chase and E F Housholder. Those voting against the passage and adoption of said ordinance were Commissioners, None. Thereupon the Chairman of the City Commission of the City of Sanford Florida anYtounced that the City Commission of the City of Sanford Florida had unanimously passed and adopted that certain ordinance No.'149 entitled: " An Ordinance Imposing Certain License Taxes."
