The City Commission of. the City of Sanford, Florida met in an adjourned session
of a regular meeting at the City Hall at Sanford, Florida, on the 15th day of December
A.D.1927 at 2:00 O'Clock P M.
Present: Commissioners , E F Housholder, Mayor.

The Chairman of the Commission E, F Housholder, announed that the hour had arrived
for the opening of bids for the purchas4 of City of Sanford Florida $510,000.00 Refunding
Bonds to bear interest at 6, rate not exaeeding six per eentum per annum of an authorized
issue of $693,000.00 city of Sanford, Florida Refunding Bonds authorized by Resolution
No. 359
Thereupon, the C]erk announced that only one ,-Tsealed bid had been received.
The Clerk was ordered,to open and read said bid, the same being the bid,of Parson Son &
Company, said bid offering to purchase. bonds of said refunding issue to the amount of
$100,000.00 , average maturities, to bear interest at the rate of Five and One -half per
centum per annum, at and for the price of 95.555 per cent of the par value thereof, with
accrued interest to date of_ delivery.
After due consideration the bid of Farsom Son & Company was rejected and the
.Clerk was directed to.forthwith return to said bidder the good faith check submitted with
said bid.
Communication from W C Hutchinson offering to audit the City of Sanford Freight
bill for 25% of amount collected. Upon motion duly adopted, this offer was accepted and
Mr W C.Hutchinson authorized to proceed with said audit.
Bills against - Estate of Thos. E Wilson for sidewalks now delinquent were
discussed and on motion by Commissioner Chase, seconded by Commissioner W C Hill, the Clerk
was instructed to notify Mrs Thos. E Wilson that the City of Sanford will accepVettlement
of said bills at face of lien plus recording fees omitting-the interest thereon., upon
condigion that said suit now pending against the City be dismissed and said payment made to
the City within the next thirty days time.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned bubject to call.
