the possession of said certificates of indebtedness of . the City of Sanford, Florida,_ above
described now held by the Chase National Bank of New York City,, axed,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED , that the said Law Firm of Hornblower, Miller & Garrison:, -and
each and every individual member thereof, be and the same are hereby authorized for and on
behalf of the City of Sanford, Florida, a municipal corporation to sign and verify any petit-
ion or bill of complaint or other, legal paper necessary to be-filed in any legal proceeding
instituted by them-for and on behalf of the City of. Sanford, Florida, deemed advisable by the
to be instituted and prosecuted in order to protect the interests of the City'of Sanford,
Florida, and to secure possession of said certificates of indebtedness, including the exeeutio
by said attorneys in the name of the City of Sanford, Florida or as attorneys —in —fact for the
City of Sanford Florda, of any replevin, injunction or other judicial bond necessary for the
City of Sanford Florida to execute with regard to any legal proceedings that rra y be brought
by the said law firm of Hornblower, Miller & Garrison , and each and every member thereof, for
and on behalf of the City of Saiif ord, Florida in the premises, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the law firm of Hornblower, Miller & Garrison , and each
every member thereof , are hereby fully authorized and empowered to bring such action either
law or in chancery for the protection of the interests of the City of Sanfordd Florida, con-
ferred upon the said law firm by resolution No. 360, adopted by the City Commission of the
City of Sanford, Florida on the 24th day of December 1927, .and each and every individual
member of the flaw firm of Hornblower, Miller & Garrison are hereby fully' authorized and
empowered to carry out the matters and things contained in said resolution No. 360 adopted
by the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida on the 24th day of Deoember A.D.1927. az
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the said law firm of Hornblower, Miller & Garrison , and
each and every individual member thereof be and they are hereby given full power and authority
to do everything whatsoever requisite and necessary to be done in the premises, the City of
Sanford Florida hereby ratifying and confirming all that said lgw firm of Hornblower, Miller
& Garrieion, and each and every individual member thereof,(lawfully do or cause to be
done by virtue hereof.

The Clerk was authorized to have a facsimile rubber stamp made of the Municipal
Judge W E White's signature, and to stamp same on the Municipal Court proceedings which had
been signed by the Judge.
Vouchers for the last half of December were submitted, and approved and the clerk
authorised to draw checks to pay same.
