Memorandum Of Understanding Relating To The City Of Sanfo
Distributing Sanford Chamber Welcome Bags To New Utility Customers
This Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) is entered into this
_ day of �� a2 & f -- , 2011 by and between the Greater
Sanford Regional Chamber of Commerce (Chamber), whose address is 400
E 1 Street, Sanford, Florida, 32771 -1408, and the City of Sanford (City),
whose address is c/o City Manager, City Hall, 300 North Park Avenue,
Sanford, Florida, 32771.
Whereas, the Chamber provides welcome bags to the City for
distribution to new utility customers; and
Whereas, these welcome bags contain information that could be
helpful to new residents, and
Whereas, the Chamber is responsible for purchasing the welcome
bags and providing the various items inside the welcome bag that includes,
among other things, items, coupons and literature from various vendors; and
Whereas„ the Chamber and the City desire to set forth an
understanding relating to the distribution of the Chamber's welcome bags.
Now, Therefore, in consideration of the foregoing recitals, and for the
other good and valuable consideration, the receipt of which is acknowledged
by execution of this MOU, the parities agree and understand as follows:
1) The above recitals are true and correct and form a material part of
this MOU upon which the parties have relied.
2) The Chamber provides the welcome bags to the City at no cost to
the City.

3) The City does not endorse or warrant any advertiser, vendor or
organization that has materials included in the Chamber's welcome
4) The undersigned signatories represent that they have the lawful
authority to enter into this MOU on behalf of the respective parties.
5) This MOU shall be in effect on the date that it is executed by both
of the parties hereto and may be terminated by either party at any
time with 10 days advance written notice to the other party.
In Witness Whereof, the parties have executed this MOU on the dates
indicated below.
