The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida and the Sanford Community Redevelopment Agency, met
in Joint Work Session on Monday, May 13, 2002, at 4:00 P.M. in the City Manager's Conference Room, Sanford City Hall 300
North Park Avenue, Sanford, Florida.

Mayor Lessard called the meeting to order.
Mayor Lessard reported that the Sanford Airport Authority Financial Report will be presented now due to the
presenter's commitment to another meeting at 5:00 P.M.
Sanford Airport Authority Financial Report for Quarter Ending Man:h 31. 2002.
Bryant Garrett, Vice President of Finance & CFP, and Larry Dale, Orlando-Sanford Airport President and CEO,
presented and reviewed the Sanford Airport Authority Financial Report for Quarter Ending March 31, 2002.
Community Redevelopmerit Agency Budeet.
City Manager VanDerworp distributed the Community Redevelopmerit Agency's Budget for fiscal year 2001-
2002 and draft budget for subsequent years.
Agency Chairman Mercer reviewed the Agency's Budget for fiscal year 2001-2002, projections for subsequent
years, and potential projects and funding ffereoE Mr. Memer said it is the Agency's purpose to spend money that will increase
income producing tax bases in the historic district.
Items also discussed include downtown parking improvements, Riverwalk Project, Sanford Main Street funding,
First Street redesign, economic incentives for small businesses, facade improvements, and the Conference Center project.
Them being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
