Randy Raymond, Herbert Halback Incorporated (HHI), presented a brief overview of beautification projects for
SR 46 from I4 to Highway 17-92, and Highway 17-92 from 20th Street to Lake Monroe. Howard Jeffi'ies, Manager of Parks
and Grounds Maintenance, distributed prelininary cost estimates for the projects.

and to authorize replacement of 1,120 feet of pipe and miscellaneous structures and award the contract for replacing it to the
lowest bidder, Central Florida Environmental, inco, Longwood, in the anaount of $515,146.60; and authorize emergency purchase
of 1,120 feet of pipe from Florida Concrete Pipe, Inc., Astatula, in the amount of $172,160; and authorize Staff to get quotations
for an emergency purchase of five structures for the project at an amount not to exceed $40,000; and authorize use of General
