The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida met in Special Meefiug on Monday, June 30, 2003, at
3:00 P.M. in the City Manager's Conference Room, Sanford City Hall, 300 North Park Avenue, Sanford, Florida.
Present:
Mayor-Commissioner Brady Lessard
Commissioner Kevin Hipes
Commissioner Velma Williams
Commissioner Randy Jones
Commissioner Art Woodruff
City Attorney William L. Colbert
Interim City Manager Andrew VanGaale
City Clerk Janet Dougherty
The Chairman called the meeting to order at 3:04 P.M.
Interim City Manager's proposed 2003/2004 budget.
Copies of the proposed budget were distributed to the Commi~ion by Kevin Smith, Finance Director.
Consideratian/annroval of CRv Manager Contract with Mr. Grieshaber.
Mayor Lessard provided a copy of the document entitled "Employment A4greement' dated June 26, 2003,
between the City of Sanford and Al Grieshaber, Jr. to Commissioners Hipes and Jones. The Mayor summarized Sections
1 through 21 of the agreement and outlined its terms. Followhag discussion by the Commission, Commissioner Hipes moved
to approve the Employment Agreement with Mr. Grieshaher as presented. Seconded by Commissioner Williams and carried
by vote of the Commi~ion as follows:

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 3:43 P.M.
