CONSENT AGENDA
Approve $30,000.00 for Ardaman and Associates, Inc.,to perform Geotechmcal· ' Testmg' for the St. Johns Parkway
Phase III project. Recommended by the City Manager.
Amend Development Order No. 02-0049 for Kay's Landincr to allow installation of a six foot higt~ perimeter fence
in place of the tnasonry wall subject to having written acceptance from all adjoining property owners.
Recommended by the City Manager.
Authorize continue the services of Muller Mintz at an hourly rate of $150.00 effective October 1, 2003.
Recommended by die City Manager.
Award IFB 02/03-23, 1st floor City Hall renovations, to Gericho Construction in amount of $274,591.00; approve
$16,000.00 for computer cables and connections by the dty; .approve not to exceed $4,000.00 for office
furnishings. Recommended by the Cily Manager.
Approve One-Year Lease Extension with Boys and Girls Club of Central Florida, Inc., for use of the City's
Westside Recreation Center at 919 South Persinlmon Avenue, Sanford, Florida, for a term of October 15, 2003
through October 15, 2004. Recommended by {he City Manager.

Second reading and adoption of Ordinance No. 3528, re: First Comprehensive Plan Amendment of 2003. Ad
published August 31, 2003. Recommended by the Director of Planning and Community Development and the City
Manager.
First reading of Ordinance No. 3808, re: close, vacate and abandon a foucteen (14) foot wide north-south alley
between Magnolia Avenue and Palmetto Avenue and between Fast 28th Place and Fast 29th Street, with conditions;
Barbara Jackson, applicant. Ad published August 24, 2003, affected owners notified August 21, 2003, property
posted August 25, 2003. Recommended by the Director of Plamfing and Community Development and die City
Manager.
Condemnation of properties. Owners notified and properties posted August 8, 2003, legal ads published August 31
and September 7, 2003. Director of Planning and Community Development and the City Manager recommend
fmding the structures unsafe, dilapidated, unsanitary or uninhabitable, to condemn said structures and give the
owner(s) thirty (30) day s to repair or delnolish; if property owner(s) fail to effect such demolition and removal or
repair within said thirty (30) day period, the city shall demolish and remove the buildings and/or structures, and the
actual cost of said removal and disposal, including adminiswative costs, will be assessed as a lien against the
propecdes.

Adopt Resolution No. 1941, re: authorize signaiures on bank accounts with Wachovia Bank and the State Board of

Adopt Resolution No. 1947, re: support an additional one cent local option fuel tax, with revenues primarily to fund
ADA costs and other public transportation operating expenses. Recommended by the City Manager.
