There being no further complaints or objections registered as to valuations
on the 1943 tax roll, the Board then approved the valuations on such roll as set
by the Tax Assessor and adjourned as an Equalization Board.
On motion duly adopted the Commission next authorized an expenditure in
amount of $72.50 for having F.M.English make the necessary repairs to the roof on
the Library Building.
On motion of Commissioner Gut, seconded by Commissioner Hill and carried,
the Commission next authorized the purchase of the following Refunding Series
"A" Bonds:
11 Bonds Nos. 376?, 5006-5016, with coupons due $~pt 1,1943 and SCA, from
Cohu & Torrey, New York City, at a price of $~,717.50 and interest.
20 Nos 5 1, 1093/95, n29,3075, 34S9, 401S/20, 4070/72,4123/26,
~162,4892/9~, with coupons due Sept 1,19~3 and SCA, from Snyder,
Wilson & Company, Toledo, at a price of $8,700.00 and interest.
ll Bonds Nos. 2710 3236/45, with coupons due Sept 1,1943 and SCA,
from B.J.Van Ingen & Company, Miami, at a price of $4,785.00 and interest.
5 Bonds Nos. 370/73, 2051, with coupons due Sep~ 1,1943 and ~A, from
Cohu & Torrey, St.Petersburg, at a price of $2,150.00 and interest.
