The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in adjourned session
at the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, at ll:O0 o'clock A.M. August 20,1943.
Present: Commissioner Edward Higgins, Mayor.

Absent: Commissioner M.J.Lodge.
Meeting called to order by the Chairman who announced that the purpose of the
meeting was to confer with the Board of Appraisers employed by the City Attorney,
consisting of Messrs. H.C.DuBose, J.H.Colclough, P.Bayard Smith and E.B.Stowe, with
respect to the values placed on the properties involved in condemnation proceedings
for acquiring the additional right-of-way for the State Road Department to widen Park
Avenue.
Thereupon Mr. DuBose submitted the following values, as estimated by the
foregoing Board, of the following described properties, with respect to the five
foot condemned by the City and the estimated damages to the remainder of said properties
that will be caused by the City acquiring the said five feet for street right-of-way
purposes.
