Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida met in adjourned Session
in the City of Sanford, Florida, at 2:00 o'clock P M December 20,

Meeting called to order by the Chair~an.
On motion of Commissioner Lodge, seconded by Commissioner Out and carried, the
Commission next authorized an increase in salsries of the following employees, effect-
ive December 16,1943 as follows:
R.C.Wilcox from $99.0~ to $1iO.nO oer
~aro~yn ~c~enney from $93.q0 to $10 O~°nth
manning ~.~arrlett f,~ ~,~= ~ ~ ~ ~er month

Consideration next given to the matter of compensating City employees in
addition to their regular salaries, for services rendered during the year 194~.
Thereupon after considerable discussion, Commissioner Hill moved that all
white employees that have been in the employ of ~he City for more than one year
be paid a bonus of $10.00 and those employed for less than one year be Paid
and that ell colored employees having been employed for more than one year be paid
$5.00 and ~hose employed for less than one year be nald Seconded by Commissioner Gut and carried.
