The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in regular session
at the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida at 7:30 o'clock P.M. February 10,
1947, but due to lack of a quorum immediately adjourned until 7:30 o'clock
February 12, 1947.

On motion duly adopted, the Commission next re-appointed the Recreation Cos~ittee
for the ensuing year, consisting of the following members:
J L Ingley
Geo. A. Speer Jr.
Roy Holler
Jack Ratigan
Eugene Tucker
Sam Nartina
Recreation Director ( to be appointed)
The C~y Eanager next reported on conference with ~r. B.G.Duncan, Vice President of
the South Atlantic Gas Company, with further reference to their failure to install and
extend gas services to prospective customers, in accordance with the requirements of their
franchise , advising that Er. Duncan did not give any assurance that they would make new
installation or extensions in Sanford and was very reluctant toward improving on the services
now rendered, which has been unsatisfactory.
No action taken.
Commissioner Williams next introduced Resolution No. ?15, and after being read in full
by the Clerk, moved its passage and adoption.
Seconded by Commissioner Bishop and carried by the following vote of the Commission:

A RESOLUTION O? THE CITY CO~ISSION OP THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, CONCURRING IN
THE PRICE FIXED BY THE COUNTY COmmISSIONERS OF SE~INOLE COUNTY, FLORIDA, ON THE PROPERTY
EE~IN DESCPIBED, TITLE TO I~HICH WAS ACQU~ED BY SAID SE~gINOLE COUNTY UNDER FORECLOSURE OF
TAX LIENS.
WHEREAS, Seminole County, ?l~le, has acquired title to the following described lots,
pieces and parcels of land situate in the City of Sanford, Seminole County, Florida, by
foreclosure of t~x liens, and the Board of County Commissioners of Seminole County, Florida,
at its regular meeting- held on the seventh d~y of January 194~, fixed , as required by law,
the price on s~id l~nd at fifty percent (505) of the amou~ of the last assessed valuation
appearing upon the county tax roll, and the City Commission cZ~ the City of Sanford is of the
opinion that the price so fixed by the County Commissioners is a fair ar~l reasonable price:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Cos~ission of the City of Sanford, Florida,
that said City Commission does hereby concur in such price of said lands so fixed by the
County Commissioner of Seminole County, Florida, as aforesaid, said lands being described
as follows:
Lot 3 of Block 3 DBEAI~WOLD, as recorded in P~t Book 4, page 30, SE~INOLE COUNTY
records.
The East ~ feet of Lot l, ~lock 12 , Tier ll, A.C.~.~ART~VN'S ADDITION to the Town of
Sanford ss recorded in Plat book l, page 98, Seminole County Records.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this resolution be forwarded by the
City C~rk to the Clerk of the Board of County Commissioners of Seminole County, Florida.
BE IT ~UnTH;~R R~SOLVED that this resolution shall become effective immediately upon
its passage and adoption.
