The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in adjourned session
at the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, at ilO0 o'clock P.N. February 20,
1947.

Meeting called to order by the Chairman who
announced that the purpose of the
meeting was to accept bid proposals for furnishing one new fordor sedan automobile
for the police department to replace the 1942 Ford Sedan now in service that has
worn to such an e×tent as to hinder the efficiency of the department.
The following bids were then submitted for consideration:
STRICKLAND-MORRISON, INC.
~ Ford Super-DeLuxe Fordor Sedan, with 100 H.P.Motor 1,437.89
Less trade-in allowance on 1942 Ford Sedan 587.89
Net price F.O.B.Sanford. 850.00
SPEEDY SALES AND SERVICE
i 1947 Kaiser Fordor Sedan 2 086.55
Less trade-in allowance on 1942 Ford Sedan 925.00
Net price F.O.B.Sanford. 1,161.55
HOLIJER NOTOR SALES

Less Trade-in allowance on 1942 Ford Sedan
Net price F.O.B.Sanford.
Thereupon after comparison of prices submitted, Commissioner
acceptance of the lowest bid, that of Holler Motor Sales for furnishing one 1947
Chevrolet Fleetmaster Fordor Sedan at price of $1,299.00, less trade-in allowance
of $810.O0 on City's 1942 Ford Sedan.
Seconded by Commissioner Bishop and carried.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
