The City Commission of the City of $snford, Florida met in SDecial Seeslon
at the City Hall in the City of S?nford, Florida st 12:00 noon, December 3, 1947
for the purpose of c~nvasslng the election returns of the General ~unlcipal Election
held December 2, 1947.
Present: Commissioner H.James Gut, llayor.

Nesting called to order by the Chairman.
Thereupon the Commission proceeded to canvass the returns of the General
~uniclpal Election held on December 2, 1947, for the ouroose of electlng two City
Commissioners for terms of three years each, com::enclng the first Tuesday after the
First ~ondsy in January 1948, as made by the Clerk and Inspectors of s~id election;
s~id returns being as follows:

Thereupon Commissioner Lesher moved that the returns of the Clerk and Inspectors
of the General Yuniclp~l Election held December 2, 1947 be eccepted.
Seconded by Commissioner t~fillisms and carried.
ThereuDon John Krider Sr. ~nd Randall Chase were certified ss the regularly
elected City Commissioners of the City of Bsnford, Florida for three years e~ch,
commencing with the first Tuesdey after the first ?ondsy in Jenuary 1948.
On motion duly adopted payment of $10.O0 to e~ch of the Inspectors and Clerk of
the General ~lunicipal Election held on December 2, 194y we, s next authorized.
On motion duly carried, the Commission next authorized the advance payment of
monthly appropriations for months of December 194~, and January 1948, to the Seminole
County Chamber of Com~erce for publicity purposes.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
