The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in adjourned regular
session at the City Hall in the City of $~nford, Florida at 1:30 o'clock P ~ ,
February 16, 1948.
Present: Commissioner Robert A Williams, Nayor.

Meeting called to order by the Chairman.
Nr. Geo G. Ehrenborg, Appraisal Engineer of the firm of Geo. G. Ehrinborg
Company of Dallas, Texas, next appeared before %he Board and submitted a proposal
for revaluing all real and personal property within the City, outlining their
procedure for arriving at valuations of all c~assification~ of property, and sub-
mitted samples of the card index system they propose to furnish for assessment
purposes; stating that the estimated cost for their services for revaluation of
all real and personal property would amount to approximately $1~,O00.00. Nr Ehrenborg
also submitted a list of cities that they had made similar appraisals during the past
several years,including the cities of Gainesville and Tallahassee, and reouested that
these cities be contacted for recommendations as to their cualifications.
Action deferred, pending an investigation by the City Nanager , of the operatio~
of ~r. Ehrenborg's system in the City of Tallahassee.
Request next received from N.J.Lodge for a loading zone in ~ront of his place
of business at 30? E. Second Street.
Thereupon after ccmsidera~le discu~sion, Commissioner Krider's motion that
the aforesaid loading zone be granted, died for want of a second.
On motion duly carried the Commission authorized the payment of $593.9?
~20.00 to
to Ganas Refrigeration Service of Sanford, and/G.H Peace of Longwood, Fla. for
services rendered, including necessary replacement parts and equipment in starting up cold
storage plant at airport and putting it in good operationg condition.
