The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met 111 &dJo~rned session

~eeting called to order by the Chairman.
~r. Frank Sh~mes,a representative of the Florida Fashions Manufacturing Company nex~ ap-
peared before the Board to discuss the conditions of the proposed lease agreement for
building No. 3 Synthetic Trainer Building at the ~unicipal Airport. The proposed lease
agreement having been approved by the Commission at the regular meeting of February 9,19~8.
Nr. Shands requested several changes be made and that a new lease agreement be pre-
pared, incorporating these changes.
Natte~ taken under advisement pending the preparation of a new lease agreement by ~he
City Attorney.
Nr. Edward Hlggins, Nanager of the Seminole County Chamber of Commerce next appeared
before the Board and presented the proposal of the Hill Dredging Co. to furnish the
necessary fill, a minimum of ~5,000 cu. yds. for the City-owned property in the vicinity
of French Avenue, at a cost of $6,000.00 payable on or before December 31, 194~.
Thereupon after considerable discussion and on motion of Commissioner Krider, seconded
by Commissioner Chase and carried, the Commission authorized the Nayor and Clerk to pro-
ceed with negotiations for obtaining the necessary fill, payment t~erefor to be appro-
priated in the 194~-1949 Budget.
There being no further business, the meeting then adjourned until 7:30 o'clock P.M.
