The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in adjourned session
at the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, at ?:30 o'clock P M. August 6, 19~8.
Present: Commissioner Lea. R.Lesher, Acting Mayor.

City Manager & Clerk H.N. Bayer.
Absent: Commissioner Robert A Williams, Mayor.
~;,eeting called to order by the Chairman.
The Board then proceeded to a lengthy study of the estimated budget of revenues
and expenditures for the fiscal year 1945-19~9, as prepared by the City l~anager.
Consideration next given to the high cost of living bonus being paid to all
City. ~ emplOyee s.
Thereupon after considerable discussion, and in view of the continual increase
in living costs, and on motion duly adopted, the Commission authorized and directed the said
bonus to be incorporated in the salaries and w~4Ees of the employees, effective as of August l,
19~.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
