The City Commission of the City of S~nford, Florida met in adjourned session
at the City Hall in the City of S~nford, Florida, at 2:00 o'clock P ~ August 12, 1948,
sit as a Tax Equalization Board.
Present: Commissioner Lea R. Lesher, Acting ~ayor.

Neetlng cs~led to order by the Chairm~n.
The Commission then proceeded td sit as a Tax Ecualization Board to receive
any further complaints or objections filed with the City Clerk as to assessed valua-
tions on the 1948 Tax Roll as prepared by the City Tax Assessor.
There being no further complaints or objections registered, the Commission.
then adjourned as a Tax EGuallzation Board until 2:00 o'clock ~ ~ August l~, 1948,
and thereupon proceeded to h~ndle any other business which m~y come before it.
Commissioner Chase then reported on the conference he had wlth Attorney
A. Edwin Shinholser and advised that Attorney Shinholser would accept ~he position as
an assistant to City Attorney Wilson at a salary of $100.00 per month and that if he
is to assume the full duties of City Attorney after 0cbober l, 194~ he
per month.
There being no further business the meeting then adjourned.
