The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida met in adjourned Session at the
City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, at ?:30 o'clock p M September 28, 194~.

Meeting called to order by the Chairman. '-'
Mr. Donovan Dean and W.M.W~lte, Architects, Orlando; Robert Michaels of the firm of
A.P.Mlchaels, Engineer, Orlando; and Jack Ratlgan of the City Recreation Committee next
appeared before the Commission to discuss the proposed swimming pool.
Mr. Dean submitted plans for an aboveground pool as well as a partially underground
pool. He stated that the estimated cost for the above ground pool would be approximately
$41,O00.00 including the treatment plant of $15,000.00.
Mr Michaels discussed the construction of a steel reinforced concrete block pool as
compared with the conventional poured concrete pool, as being adequate to withstand
the water and ground pressure and stated that he Would endorse the construction of
SUch a pool.
There being no further business the meetlng then adjourned until 4:00 o'clock P.M.
