The City Commission of the City of ~anford, Florida, met Xn adjourned session
at the City Hall ~n the City of Sanford, Florida at 3:00 o'clock P U July 5, 1946.
Present: Commissioner H James Gut, Mayor

Meeting called to order by the Chairman.
The Commission then resolved itself, in final session as a Tax Equalization Board
to act upon complaints registered as to assessed valuation for year 1946.
The Board next proceeded %o consider the complaints and objections registered as to
to the blanket increase in the assessed value of 20~ on residential, 10~ on business
and 1OO~ on un~mproved real estate, as set by the Tax Assessor.
Thereupon after considerable discussion, and on motion of Commissioner Hill,
Seconded by Commissioner Bishop and carried, the Commission ordered the assessed
valuations placed on unimproved real property classified as vacant Iota, pieces or
parcels of land reduced 20~, and approved the valuations set by the Tax Assessor on
improved property.
The following action was next taken with respect to complaints aa to individual
valuations presented to the Board at its meeting of July 1 and other complaints fLled
with the Clerk since that tLme.
