at 1:30 o'clock P ~[ October 22, 1946.

Neeting called to order by the ~,airman.
The following bids next received for ourchaslng
on the trees at the Sanford Naval Air Station:
Hsmlin
or early oranges
Narket Fruit Company
Lingle & ~illiams
Patrick Fruit Corporation
2.25 per field box
2.30 per field bo~
1.50 per field box.
Thereupon Commissioner Bishop moved that the contract be awarded to the highest
bidder, that of Lingle & Williams at a price of $2.30 per field box on the tree, to be
picked not later than October 31,1946.
Seconded by Commissioner Williams and carried.
Application next received from Chase & Company for permit to construct a c~ncrete
loading zone on parkway in fron~ of tkeir property on Holly Avenue between Thirteenth
Street and railroad, and on motion duly adopted, same was granted.
There being no further business the meetkng adjourned.
