Current invoices and payrolls for month of October 1946, properly audited and vouchered as evidenced by voucher Nos. 9552 and payment authorized. ~onthly reports of streets, sanitation, thru 9667, submitted, examined, ai~groved health, water, police, fire,library and airport departments for month of October 1946, submitted and examined. Financial statement and statement of revenues and expenditures during month of October 1946, submitted and examined. Bsnk statements in all accounts for month of October 1946, properly reconciled, submitted and examined. The group of residents from vicinity of petition at the meeting of October 14, in protest against the permit gr~nted Central Florida Quick Freeze & Cold Storage Company inc. to construct and operate the building located at 401-09 West Thirteenth St., next appeared end mede request for the Commission to rescind the ordinance under which this perm~ Nr. Alex Johnson, President of the Central Florida Quick Freeze & Cold Storage Company, Inc, then submitted the returns on poll claimed to have been t~ken from citizens residing within this same area, showing sixty-five in f~vor of the abattoir and fifteen ob.lectin~ to it.
