The City Commission of the City of Sanford,
at the City Hall Xn the City of Sanford, Florida,

Meeting called to order by %he Chairman.
Florida, met in adjourned session
at 7:~O0'clock P.M. December 4, 19~6.
Communication next read from Attorney G.~.Spencer registering a complaint against
the conduct of Willie Sutton, colored policeman, for slaoptng a colored boy named
Eugene Senior, which occurred in an argument between this boy and Willie Sutton's son
involving a bicycle, stating ths~ he had advised this boy to secure a warrant for Willie
Sutton's arrest for assault and battery.
Thereupon Chief of Police Williams reported that he was making an investigation of
this incident and had suspended Willie Sutton from his duties as police officer until the
true facts surrounding the case could be obtained.
Letter signed by ten of the firemen, next presented, requesting the Commission
to give consideration toward an immediate increase in their salaries because of the
high cost of living expenses.
Matter taken under advisement.
Minutes of all regular , adjourned and special meetings of the Commission for
period April 11 thru Beptember 27,1946, next read and approved.
There being no further business meeting then adjourned.
