The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Fldrlda, met in adjourned session at the
City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, at 8:00 o'clock P. M. September 9, 1954.
Present: Commissioner Earl Higginbotham, Mayor

Absent: City Attorney A. Ed~,~.n Shlnholser
Meeting called to order by the Chairman.
The Commission then proceeded to a further study of the budget of revenues and ex-
Denditures for fiscal year 195~-1955, and after completing the study and conslderatlon of all
appropriations, reviewed the entire budget and m~de further reductions and adjustments in
order to bring the operating appropriations within the estimated revenues. Final action being
deferred, pending report on such revisions.
On motion of Commissioner Cordell, seconded by Commissioner Stamper and carried, the
salary of the City Manager was next increased to $7,600.00 for fiscal year 195~-1955.
Commissioner Stamper stated that the ~regoing action was the initial step toward
considering ralaes for other emoloyees'
The City Manager was then directed to submit salary schedule of all employees,
showing length of service and date of last salary increase, for consideration of the
Commission.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
