The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in Special Called session at
the City Hall In the City of Banford, Florida, at 8:00 o'clock P. M. August 25, 1955.
Present:
Commissioner J. D. Co,dell, Mayor
" Earl Higginbotham
" John S. Krider, Br.,
" Jack Ratigan
" F.D. Scott
City Clerk H. N. Bayer
City Nanager W. E. Knowles
Meeting called to order by the Chairman.
All members of the Commission being present, Commissioner Hig~'inbotham then moved
the waiver of the requirement of twenty-four hours written notice in advance of this special
called meeting. Seconded by Commissioner Scott and carried unanimously.
Commissl. oncr Scott then moved that W. C. ~tchison, Jr., be appointed as City
Attorney to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of A. Edwin Bhinholser, effective
October l, 1955. Seconded by Commissioner Ratlgan and carried.
The Commission then proceeded to a further study and discussion of the proposed
budget of revenues and expenditures for fiscal year 1955-1956, after which the meeting
adjourned.
