The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in Special Session in the
City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, at 12:00 o'clock Noon on March 4, 1983.
Present: Mayor-Commissioner Lee P. Moore
Commissioner Milton E. Smith
Commissioner Edward A. Yancey
Commissioner David T. Farr
Commissioner Edwin O. Keith
City Attorney William L. Colbert
City Manager W. E. Knowles
City Clerk H. N. Tamm, Jr.
The meeting was called to order by the Chairman.
The Commission discussed floating a revenue bond issue to finance construction of
an office building to be leased to Seminole County, with a parking garage, on city property
currently being used as a parking lot, between Palmetto Avenue and Hood Avenue, and between
Seminole Boulevard and Commercial Street.
Commissioner Yancey moved to authorize the City Manager to send a letter to Mrs.
Sandra Glenn, Chairman, Board of County Commissioners, Seminole County, Florida, that the
City has definite interest in same, for the City Manager to discuss same with the County
Administrator to work out plans to be taken to the County Commission. Seconded by Commis-
sioner Fart and carried.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
