The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida,

Commissioner Milton E. Smith
Commissioner Edward A. Yancey
Commissioner David T. Farr
Commissioner Edwin O. Keith
City Manager W. E. Knowles
City Clerk H. N. Tamm, Jr.
Absent: City Attorney William L. Colbert
met in Special Session in the
M. on September 13, 1983.
The meeting was called to order by the Chairman.
The Chairman announced that the meeting was called to consider
study and recommendation to increase the Utility Connection Fees.

Commissioner Smith moved to accept the idea of raising the Utility
Seconded by Commissioner Yancey and carried.
Commissioner Yancey moved to authorize the City Attorney to prepare an

to amend Utility Connection Fee in accordance with the City Manager's recommendations.
Seconded by Commissioner Smith and carried over dissenting vote of Commissioner Farr.
The Mayor reported that the Trustees of Police Pension Fund and the Firemen's Pen-
sion Fund were employing an acturial firm to determine their costs .to increas~ the benefits
at least equal to Chapter 121.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
