A Town Hall Meeting to hear citizen concerns and discuss issues was held at the Allen
Chapel A.M.E Church, 1203 Olive Avenue, Sanford, Florida, on Tuesday, March 2, 2004, at
6:30 P.M.
Present:
Vice Mayor Dr. Velma H. Williams, Host
Mayor Brady Lessard
Commissioner Art Woodruff
City Manager Al Grieshaber, Jr.
Deputy City Manager Andrew Van Gaale
Chief of Police Brian Tooley
Director of Public Works Tom George
Recreation Manager Lisa Jones
Parks and Grounds Maintenance Operations Manager Marc Hultin
The meeting was called to order at 6:34 P.M.
Mr. Van Gaale and department representatives discussed various projects in District 2,
assisted by Project Manager Chris Smith and Caroline Shine concerning the Goldsboro Trail.
Questions were heard from the audience and responses given.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:12 P.M.
