Called Meeting January 4-, 1926

Present Commissioner Forrest Lake (Nayor) $ 0 Chase and C J Narshall.
Neeting called for the purpose of reviewing and equalizing assessments in the East
Side Bulkhead district ~2, as defined, created and established in and by ordinance
~104, adopted on the 12th day of October 1925, and to hear any reasons why any of
the assessments in said east side bulkhead district ~2 levied and imposed against
privately owne~ proDerty should be changed or modified.
There being no complaints or objections filed, Commissioner S 0 Chase moved, and
motion was seconded by Commissioner C J Narshall, and duly adopted that the assessments
be declared confirmed and equalized.
The Commission then proceeded as an Equalizing Board for the purpose of reviewing
and equalizing assessments in the West Side Bulkhead District, as defined, created and
established in and by ordinance ~105, adopted on the 12th day of October A.D.1925
and to hear any reasons why any of the assessments in said West Side Bulkhead District
levied and imposed against privately o~ed property should be changed or modified.
No objections or complaints were filed as to these assessments; thereupon Com-
missioner S 0 Chase moved and motion was seconded by Con~issioner C J ~arshall and duly
adopted that the assessments be confirmed, equalized, adjusted and approved.
Er A.D.Zachary and ~E Tyler of the Zachary Tyler Veneer Co. were present and
submitted a co~u~unication objecti~ to the West Side Bulkhezd as a whole, which co~uni-
cation was referred to the City Attorney.
~Lr. H Wight came before the Co~mmission requesting paving of Fourth Street
between Elm Ave. and Laurel Ave., and the City Engineer was authorized to proceed with
the work.
There being no further business the meetir~ adjourned.
