Co~m.~moner S 0 Chase introduced Resolution ~262 entitled: "A Resolution requirinz the~ ..... ~aen~ng~, grading and oavin~_ of Hughey Street ~rom French Avenue West 2~9~ feet and Co,try Club Road frou a ~oint on Hughey Street 2795 feet west of the Center line of French Ave. southwesterly an~ west ~10 feet to the Corporation line, to a width o~ 24 feet in stead of 16 feet as heretofore authorized." and moved that s~ne be adopted. ~ereupon said resolutions was read in full. Upon the reading of said resolution the question was put upon the adoption of s~me. Those voting in favor of the adoption of said resolution were: Co~m~issioners Forrest Lake S O Chase and E F Housholder. Thereupon City Commissioner E F Housholder introauced Resolutions 2~l-A to 2~.1-~, and ~'~261-A1 to 261-Z1 and 261-A2 to 261R2, and mo~ed that saree be adopted. Thereupon said resolutions were read in full. Upon the reading of saii resolutions ',~7~e question was 'out upon the adoption of same. Those voting in favor of the adoption o£ said resolutions were Commissioners, Forrest Lake S 0 Chase and E F Housho!der. ~ose voting against the adoption of said resolutions were: Commissioners none. Thereupon the Ohairz~u~ of ~he City Cozm~ission a~no~a~ced that the City Com,~ission had by unani::~ous vote pa~;sed and adopted the above mentioned resolutions. Petition from property owners on Blaine Street requesting that seine be opened and graded from Oleander Ave. west to Country Club Road was read and referred to City ~.{ana6er for action. Petition from property ovrners in Franklin Terrace requesting paving of Oak Ave. :,[yrtle Ave. , Elm Ave. and Leu?el Ave. £rom Franklin St. south to Gene~a St. and Franklin St. fro:~ Oak to Laurel Ave. and ','~est Vie~'r From Oak Ave. to Laurel Ave. 0~ motion July adopted the City Engineer was i~structed to proceed with preliminary work. Petition from Bodwell Realty Co. Petition from con, ore Realty Co. requestin~ streets reqmes ~n~3 streets in Dream'~':old Section 3 be paved in "'~ynnewood" be paved. On motion duly adopted the City Engineer was instructed to proceed with this work in both the above metitions. Petition from Rylander Investment Co. requesting paving of alley in Block 2 Tier 1 S:uue was referred to City i,!anager for action. City Commission 'then mroceeded as an ec~ualizin~ Board to hear ~ny complaints or objections as to the proposed paving of the fo!lo,::ing streets: Fourth Street fro:~: )/[yrt!e A'~e. to Laurel Ave. Fz'ench Avenue from Hughey St. to Geneva Street. There being no co~;,plaints of objections filed, said assessments were declared e~!ualized,adjusted and confirmed. Planning Commission Re: ~[~unicimal Boat Basin and proposed bond Co~m:aunication from City issue read and filed. Co~m~unication from City filed. En[i;ineer to State Road Department read for information and Co~z;;unication from Sa=~_ford Real Estate Board endorsing proposed bond issue read and filed. The Following Plats were submitted by the City Engineer and on ~.~o~ion duly adopted aame, were accepted and ~rdered filed in City Plat Book. "Pine Level" "i,laplewood" "Orange Heights" "Dreamv,~o!d Sec. 3 " "~Vynnewood" "Palm Terrace" and "Ravenna Park" On :~otion duly adopted an a~propriation of ~50.,~0 per month for ~?,ain~en~,~ce of the Police Zoo was made, and it was agreed to refined to the Police Depart~:~ent ~300.00 exvended CITY COMMISSION, SANFORD, FLORIDA,. MINUTES Feb. 2~, 1925 as surety thereon, each of said bonds being the sum of Twenty-five Hundred($2,500.O0) Dollars, conditioned upon the faithful performsmce by the Said Forrest Lake , S O Chase and E F Housholder of the durites dev01virc upon them as Bond Trustees in connection with the issue of bonds of the City of Sanford, Florida in the s~n of ~232,000.00 Dollars duly executed by each of said bond trustees, being presented, and the City A4torney advising that said t~onds were in correct legal form and properly executed, the said fidelity bonds of said Forrest Lake S 0 Chase and E F Housholder, as bond trustees as aforesaid were duly approved. Upon motion duly adopted the following were appointed as a Tax Commission to assist the City Tax Assessor in makin~ up the valuations on 192~ tazc roll: l,.~r E A .Dou[jlass, Zr H C DuBose, If.r George D Bishop, and ~,ir S O Shinholser.
