Minutes of last regular meeting read and approved. ~hetCn~mission then proceeded as an equalizing Board to hear complaints or objections as to the proposed paving of the following streets: Hughey Street - From French Ave. west 2?94 feet. ( to be widened from 16 to 24 ft.) Country Club Road - From a, point 2?94 ft. west of the center line of French Ave. S~ly and west 7410 ft. to Corporation line ( To be widened from 16 to 24 ft.) Geneva Street - From a point 593 ft. W. of the S E Cor of Sec. 35 Tp. 39 R. 30 E. West 2290 ft. to A C L R.R. ( To be widened from 9 to 24 ft.) Hardy "Avenue - From Geneva St. north 831.S ft. to Country Club Road( To be widened from 9 to 24 feet.) Oak Avenue A From Hughey Street to Geneva St. ( 24 feet in width) There were no objections filed or offered against the paving of Hughey St., Geneva 8t. Hardy Ave and Oak Ave. Property owners objected to curb and gutter on Country Club road as described above. This assessment was confirmed and approved with the provisor that pavement be laid 21 ft. wide omitting the curb and gutter. Petition from F L Woodruff et al re: paving on Country Club Road read and filed. Petition from property owners in Palm Terrace requesting paving of certain streets read and City Engineer was instructed to proceed with preliminary work as to Poinsetta Drive and Palm Drive. Petition from Property owners in Woodrnff's Subdivision requestion paving of certain ,Streets was read and the Engineer was authorized to proceed with preliminary work on same. Commissioner S 0 Chase then introduced Ordinance $122, entitled: "AN ORDINANCE IMPOSING CERTAIN LICENSE TAXES." and same was placed upon its first reading . Thereupon Commissioner Chase mud that the rules be waived and said ordimance be placed upon its second reading and final passage. By unanimous vote of the Commissioners the rules were waived, and thereupon, said ordinance was placed upon its second reading and final passage and read in full. The roll was ordered called upon the passage and adoption of said ordinance. Those voting for the adoption of said ordinance being Commissioners Forrest Lake, S 0 Chase and E F Housholder. Those voting against the adoption of said ordinance were: None. Thereupon Forrest Lake as 0hairman of the City Commission announced that the City Commission of the City of Sanford by its vote had passed and adopted ordinance $122, entitled. ~ An Ordinance imposing certain license taxes.· Commissioner S 0 Chase then offered Resolution ~266 entitled: " A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE PAVING RE-PAVING BARD SURFACING AND RE-HARD SURFACING OF MARTIN STREET FROM PARXAVENUE TO OAX AVENUE A WIDTH OF 20 feet.~ and moved that same be adopted. Thereupon said resolution was read in full. Those voting in favor of the adoption of said resolution were Commissioners Forrest Lake , S 0 Chase and E F Housholder. Those voting against the adoption of said resolution were: Commissioners None.
