Thereupon Commissioner S 0 Chase introddced Resolution $267 entitled:
#
A Resolution providing for the paving, re-paving, hard surfacing and re-hard surfacing
Of Spurling St. and Katie St. from Park Ave. to Oak Ave. an~ Franklin St. from Park Ave.
to Oak Ave. and Franklin St. from Park Ave. to French Ave. , a width of 24 feet."
and moved that same be adopted.
Thereupon said resolution was read in full. Upon the reading of said resolution the
question was put upon the adoption of said resolution.
Thereupon said resolution was read in full. Those voting in favor of the adoption
of said resolution were Commissioner Forrest Lake S 0 Chase and E F Housholder.
Those voting against the adoption of said resolution were: Commissioners none.
Thereupon the Chairm~.n of the City Commission announced that the City Commission
of the City of Sanford, Florida had unanimously passed and adopted that certain resolution
$26? entitled:
"A Resolution providin~ for the paving, re-paving, hard surfacing and re-hard surfacing
of Spurling St. and Katie St., from Park Ave. to Oak Ave. and Franklin St., from Park Ave.
to French Ave., a width of 24 feet."
On motion duly adopted the City Manager was authorized to make a roadway of clay on
the Municipal Dock at the foot of Park Ave.
Communication from J D Jinkins Re: paving liens against ~ots 3 A 4 Blk 4 Tr. ~, property
of Mrs Baldwin, read and the City Attorney was instructed to take no steps in the matter of
collection of the same for the present.
On motion duly adopted the following were appointed as a Board t6 app~ai~e~ ~he value
of all property through which State Road $3 passes in the City where the owners refuse to
give the right-of-w&y for same:
H C DuBose, W C Hill and H B Lewis.
Mr W C Hill came before the Commission and requested that two gas heaters be placed
in Athletic Field, and on motion duly adopted the City Manager was authorized to have same
installed.
The following bills were read and the Clerk authorized to draw checks to pay the same
