B Williams, City Attorney, George A D~Cottes; City Engineer, F T Williams Ninutes of last regular meeting read and approved. Communication from City Pls~uning Commission Re: building code and Re: paving Pecan Ave from Tenth to 12th St., and Twelfth St. from Pecan to Olive Ave. read, and the Engineer was authorized to proceed with preliminary work on same. Commissioner S~O.Chase introduced Resolution No. 268, entitled: "A Resolution providing for the paving, re-paving, hard surfacing and re-hard surfacing of Plumosa Drive from the West line of Locust Ave. west 200 feet. to present pavement , a width of 32 feet." and moved that same be adopted. Thereupon s aid resolution was read in full. Upon the reading of said resolution the question was put upon the adoption of same. Thereupon said resolution was read in full. Those voting in favor of the adoption of said resolution were Commissioners, Forrest L~ke, S O Chase and E F Housholder. Those voting against the adoption of said resolution were: Commissioners None. Thereupon the Chair~u of the City Commission announced that the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida , had unani mou~y passed and adopted that certain resolution ~268, entitled: " A Resolution ~roviding for the paving, re-paving, hard surfacing and re-hard surfacing of Plumosa Drive from the West line of Locust Ave. west 200 feet to present pavement, a width of 32 feet." Thereupon Commissioner $ 0 Chase lntorduced Resolution ~269, entitled: "A Resolution providing for the paving, re-paving, hard surfacing and re-hard surfacing of Fourteenth Street and Valencia Street from the west line of Locust Ave. West 200 feet. to the Present pavement, Locust Ave. from Celery Ave. to Hughey Street, Rosalia Drive from Sanford Ave. to Locust Ave., Paloma Ave. from Rosalia Drive to Locust Ave, and Naderia Ave. £rom Rosalia Ave. to Paloma Ave., a width of 24 feet. and moved that same be adopted. Thereupon Said resolution was read in full. Upon the reading of said resolution the question,s put upon the adoption of same. ~nereupon said reasolution was read in full. Thereupon the Chairman of the City Commission announced that the City Commission of the City of $anford, Florida, had unanimously passed and adopted that certain resolutio~ No. 269 entitled: "A Resolution providing for the paving, re-paving hard surfacing and re-hard surfacing of Fourteenth Street and Valencia Street from the west lis of Lucst Ave. weet 200 feet to the present pavement, Locust Ave. from Celery Ave. to Hughey St., Rosalia Drive from Sanford Ave. to Locust Ave., Paloma Ave. from Rosalia Drive to Locust Ave. and Naderia Ave. from Rosalia ~rive to Paloma Ave. a width of 24 feet." Commissioner S O Chase then intorduced Ordinance ~123, entitled: "An Ordinance regulatin the operation and flight of aeroplanes and hydroplanes in the City of S~_ford, Florida, during certain hours on the Sabbath day, and providing a penalty for the violations of the provisions hereof." and same was plmced upon its first reading. Thereupon Commissioner S 0 Chase moved that the rules be waived and said ordinance be CITY COMMISSION, SANFORD, FLORIDA, MINUTES April 12, 1926 Those voting against the adoption of said ordinance were: Thereupon Forrest Lake , as Chairman of Commission of the City of Sanford, by its entitled: None. the City Commission announced that the City vote had pssaed and adopted ordinance No. 123 "An Ordinance regulating the operation and flight Of aeroplanes and hydroplanes in the City of San~ord, Florida, during certain hours on the Sabbath Day, and providing a penalty for the violations of the provisions hereof." The City Commission then proceeded as an Equalizing Board to hear any co,clients or objections as to the proposed paving of the following streets in the City of Sanford, Fla.: Elm Avenue from Franklin Street to Geneva Street, Myrtle Ave. from Franklin St. to Geneva St. Laurel Ave. from Franklin St. to Geneva Street. Reports of the City Clerk, City ~nager for the Month of March were read and filed. The City Engineer submitted the following plats and sa~ were approved: Narvania" A F G. Industrial Plat" "Fourth Section of Dreamwold" "Bookertown" ( Outside City) and" Sylvan Park" ( Outside City.) On motion duly adopted the Clerk was authorized to cancel the following Personal taxes for the year 1925: Delia Murray ( Dead ) ( For Model Trim Co.
