Present: Commissioners Forrest Lake (Nayor) $ O Chase and E F Housholder

Ninutes of last regular meeting read and approved.
Communication from San Lanta Investment Co. requesting that in paving the streets in
San Lanta S~bdivision, the City use asphalt base instead of rock base, was read and on
motion duly adopted sa~e was so ordered.
Plat of Bel-Air~Couutry Club Estates was
submitted and approved.
On motion duly adopted the City Nanager was authorized to purchase for the use of
the Fire Dhief one Hupmobile Roadster fully equipped, a.ud also for the use of the Building
Inspector , one Ford Car.
Commissioner $ O 0hase thereupon offered Resolutions ~290-A to 290I Inc. requiring
the construction of certain sidewalks.
and moved that same be adopted. Said motion which was duly seconded prevailed by the
unanimous vote of the City Commission.
Thereupon the Chairman of the Commission announced that the City Co~nission of the
City of Sanford, Florida had by unanimous vote passed and adopted Resolutions ~290-A to
290-I Inc. requiring construction of eertain sidewalks in the City of Sanford, Fla.
Commissioner S 0 Chase then introduced Resolution ~291 entitled:
"A Resolution prescribing the form and details of an issue of bonds by the~ ity of
Sanford, Florida, in the sum of Five Hundred and Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars,
and providing for the levy of an annual tax upon all taxable property within the City of
Sanford, Florida , sufficient to produce each year the sum of money necessary to pay
the interest on said bonds and sufficient to create a Sinking Fund for the purpose
of the redemption of said bonds at the maturity thereof."
and moved that same be adopted. Said motion w~ich was duly seconded prevailed by the
unanimous vote of the City Commission.
Thereupon the Ohairman of the 0ity Commission announced that Commission of the
City of Sanford had by unaimous vote passed and adopted Resolution ~291, entitled:
"A Resolution prescribing the form and details of an issue of bonds by the City of Sanford
Florida in the sum of Five Hundred and Seventy Five Thousand Dollars, and providing
for the levy of an annual tax upon all taxable property within the City of Sanford, Florida
suf£ieient to produce each year the sum of money necessary to pay the interest on said
bonds and sufficient to create a Sinking Fund for the purpose of the redemption of said
bonds at the maturi~ty thereof."
Oo~nissioner S 0 Chase thereupon introduced Resolution ~292 entitled:
"A Resolution prescribing the form and details of an issue of bonds by the City of
Sanford , Florida in the suni of One Hundred Thousand Dollars, and providing for the
levy of an annual tax upon all taxable property within the City of Sanford, Florida,
~ufficient to produce each year the sum of money necessary to pay the interest on said
bonds and sufficient to create a Sinking Fund for the purpose of the redemption of said
bonds at the maturity thereof."
and moved that same be adopted. Said motion which was duly seconded prevailed by the unan-
imous vote of the City 0ommission.
Thereupon the Chairman of the City Commission announced that the Oo~mmission of
the City of Sanford, Florida by unanimous vote had duly passed ~ud adopted Resolution
~292 entitled:
"A Resolution prescribing the form and details of an issue of bonds by the 0ity of
Sanford, Florida, in the sum of One Hundred Thousand Dollars, and providing for the levy
of an annual tax upon all taxable property within the City of Sanford Florida suffieient
to produce each year the sum of money necessary to pay the interest on said bonds and
sufficient to create a sinking fund for the purpose of the redemption of said bonds at
the maturity thereof."

and moved that s~ne be adopted. Said motion which was duly seconded prevailed by the
unanimous vote of the City Co~mnission. Thereupon the Chairman of the City Co~nission
announced that the City Commission of the City of Sanford FlorSda had by unanimous vote
of the City Co~nission, passed and adopted that certain resolution entitled:
"A Resolution prescribing the form and details of an issue of bonds by the City of
Sanford, Florida in the sum of One Hundred Thousand Dollars, and providing for the levy
of an annual tax upon all taxable property witin the City of Sanford, Florida suf£icient
to produce each year the sum of money necessary to pay the interest on said bonds and
sufficient to create a Sinking Fund for the purpose of the redemption of said bonds at
the maturity thereof."
Thereupon Commissioner $ 0 Chase introduced Resolution ~294, entitled:
"A Resolution prescribing the form and details of an issue of bonds by the City of
S~nford Florida in the sum of Three .~Hundred and Twenty Five ~ousand Dollars and pledging
the net income, revenue and profits to be derived by the 0ity of Sanford Florida from the ~
operation of its water works plant or plants to an amount sufficient to create a Sinking
Fund to provide for the payment of the Principal and Interest of said bonds, and if said
income, revenue and profits should prove to be insufficient for said purposes, providing
for the levy of an annual tax upon all taxable property within the City of Sanford, Florida
to produce each yeast a sum sufficient to pay the interest on said bonds and to create a
Sinking Fund for the purpose of the redemption of said bonds at the ~turity thereof."
and moved that same be adopted.. Said motion whic$~ was duly seconded prevailed by the
unanimous vote of the City Commission.
Thereupon the 0hairman of the City 0ommission announced that the City Commission
of the City of Sanford, Florida had by unanimous vote of the City Con,mission passed and
adopted that certain Resolution entitled:
"A Resolution prescribing the form and details of an issue Of bonds by the City
of Sar:ford, Florida in the sum of Three Hundred and Twenty Five ~ousand Dollars and pledgihg
the net income , revenue and profits to be derived by the City of Sanford, Florida from the

Thereupon Comuission S 0 Chase introduced Resolution ~295, entitled:
"A Re:olution prescribing the form and details of an issue of bond~ by the City of Sanford
Florida, in the sum of Two Hundred Thousand Dollars and pledging the net income , revenue

imous vote of the City Co~muission. Thereupon the Chairman of the City Co~nission
announced that the City Commission of the City of 8anford, Florida, had by unanimous
vote, passed and adopted that certain resolution ~2~5, entitled:
"A Resolution prescribing the form and details of ~n issue of bonds by the City
of Sanford Florida, in the sum of Two Hundred Thousand Dollars, and pledgi~g the net income
revenue and profits to be derived by the C ty of Sanford, Florida, from the operation
of its Gas Plant, or Plants to an am~ount sufficient to create a~ Sinking Fund to provide
for the payment of the principal and interest of said bonds, and if said income , revenue
and profits should prove to be insufficient for said purposes, providing for the levy of
an annual tax upon all taxable property within the City of Sanford~ Florida, to produce
each year a sum sufficient to p~y the interest on said bonds and to create a Sinking Fund
for the purpose of the rede~otion of said bonds at the maturity thereof.

Commissioner S 0 Chase then introduced Resolution ~ 296 entitled:
"A Resolution prescribing the form and details of an issue of bonds by the City of Sanford
Florida in the sum of One Hundred Thousand Dollars, and providing for the levy of an annual
tax upon all taxable property within the City of Sanford, Florida, sufficient to produce
each year the sum of money nece~ry to pay the interest on said bonds and sufficient to
create a sinking fund for the purpose of the redemption of said bonds at the maturity
thereof."
and moved that same be adopted.
Said motion which was duly seconded prevailed by the unanimous vote of the City
Cormnission.
Thereupon the Chairman of the City Commission announced that the City Commission of
the City of Sanford, Florida, had by unanimous vote passed and adopted that certain reso-
lution nu~nbered 296 entitled:
"A Resolution prescribing the form and details of an issue of bonds by the City of
Sanford, Florida in the sum of One Hundred Thousand Dollars, and providing for the levy of an
annual Tax upon all taxable property within the City of Sanford, Florida, sufficient to
create a Sinking Fund for the purpose of the redemption of said bonds at the maturity
thereof."
Thereupon Commissioner S 0 Chase introduced Resolution ~297 entitled:
"A Resolution prescribing the form and details of an issue of bonds by the City of Sanford
Florida, in the sum of Seventy Five Thousand Dollars, and providing for the levy of an
annual tax %con all taxable property within the City of Sanford, Florida, sufficient to pro-
duce each year the sum of Noney necessary to pay the interest on said bonds, and sufficient
to create a Sinkir~ Fund for the purpose of the redemption of said bonds at the maturity
thereof."
and moved that same be adopted.
Said motion ~vhich was duly seconded prevailed by the unanimous vote of the City
Commission.
Thereupon the Chairman of the City Commission announced that the City Oon~ission
of the City of Sanford, Florida, had by unanimous vote passed and adopted that certain
resblution numbered 297 entitled:
"A Resolution prescribin~ the form and details of an issue of bonds by the City of
Sanford, Florida in the sum of~E~e~yfived ThoUsand Dollars, and providing for the levy of
an annual tax upon all taxable property within the City of Sanford, Florida, sufficient to
produce each year the sum of money necessary to pay the interest on said bonds and sufficient
to create a Sinking: Fund for the purpose of the redemption of said bonds a~ ~he maturity
thereof."
Thereupon Commissioner S 0 Chase introduced Resolution ~298, entitled:
"A Resolution prescribing the form and details of an issue of bonds by the City of Sanford
Florida in the sum of One Hundred Thousand Dollars, and providing for the levy of an annual
tax ~oon all taxable property within the City of Sanford, Florida, sufficient to produce
each year the sum of money necessary to pay the interest on said bonds and sufficient
to create a sinking fund for the purpose of the redemption of said bonds at the maturity
thereof."
and moved that same be adopted.
Thereupon said motion was duly seconded and prevailed by unanimous vote of
the City Commission.
Thereupon the Chairman of the City Commission announced that the City Commission
of the City of Sanford, Florida, had by unanimous vote passed and adopted that certain
resolution entitled: ~295
"A Resolution prescribing the form and details of an issue of bonds by the
City of Sanford, Florida, in the sum of One Hundred Thousand Dollars, and providing for the
levy of an annual tax upon all taxable property within the City of Sanford, Florida, sufficient

Commissioner S 0 Chase then introduced Ordinance No. 133, entitled.
"An Ordinance creating a Board of Plumbing Commissioners, establishing a Plumbing Code
for the City of Sanford, Florida, providing rules and regulations for the installation of
pl~nbing and prescribing a penalty for the violation of any of the provisions of this
Ordir~nce."
and moved that same be placed upon its first reading.
Thereupon Commissioner Chase moved that the rules be waived and said ordinance be
placed upon its second reading and final passage. By Unanimous vote of the City Commission
the rules were waived and said ordinance placed upon its second reading and final passage
and read in full.

The City Attorney submitted a bill for $15.00 payable to Jesse D Kleinman, Court
Stenographer in the Case of G G Herring Vs. City of Sanford. ~23.O0 payable to Fred R.
Wilson, witness; for ~50.00 payable to J J Dickinson , Witness in ssm~e case, and the
Clerk was authorized to pay same.
The following bills were read and and approved and the Clerk authorized
