Mr George H 0aims of Oainesville , Florida came before the Commission and applied
for appointment to the position of City Manager. After a due discussion of the m~_tter, Com-
missioner S 0 Chase moved that the City Commission employ a City Manager to succeed Mr W B.
Williams, resigned. Oommissioner F L Miller seconded the motion for the purpose of securing

Florida on the 24th day of December A D . 1927 and by resolution No. 361 , adopted by the
City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida on the 27th day .of December A. D. 1927 the
firm of Hornblower, Miller & Garrison, and each and every member of said law firm, were
employed to bring legal proceedings to regain possession of said certificates of indebtednesB a
