The City Commission of the City of Sanford,
City Hall, in Sanford Florida on Thursday , January 19,

Florida met in adjourned session at the
1928.
City Attorney represented by G W Spencer Jr.
It was moved by Commissioner S 0 Chase and seconded by CO~missioner F L Miller, and
adopted by all Commissioners voting Aye that the City pay to the Chamber of Commerce, for
the fiscal year ending Sept 30, 1928 $1,000.00 to be paid in four installments of $250.00
each as directed by the City Commission. At this time the first installment of $250.00 was
authorized and check ordered drawn on Ordinary Fund Account in said amount.
It was moved by Commissioner S O Chase and seconded by Commission F L Miller and adopt-
ed by all Commissioners voting Aye, that contracts heretofore entered into by the City with
the Florida Power & Light Co. for rates for street lighting and power current used by the
City be accepted by eliminating the clause attached by riders.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
