Conm%issioner Miller offered ordinance No. 152, entitled:
"AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION OF GASOLINE FILLING STATIONS,~

and same was placed on its first reading.
Thereupon, Commissioner S O Chase moved that the rules be waived and said ordinance
be placed upon its second reading ~nd final passage. By unanimous vote of the Commission, the
rules were waived, and thereupon, said ordinance was placed upon its second reading and
final passage and read in full.
The roll was ordered called upon the passage ~nd ad option of said ordinance, and
those voting for the adoption of said ordinance are:

Thereupon, E F Housholder, as Chairman of the Co~uission announced that the City Com-
sion by it vote, has passed and adopted ordinance No. 152, entitled:
"An Ordinance regulating the building and construction of gasoline filling stations
Gasoline Service Stations, and public Garages within any residential district within the
corporate limits of the City of Sanford, Florida, and providing a penalty for the Violation
thereof."
Commissioner miller offered the following resolution:
That every gas bill rendered by the City Utilities Department for the months of
January and Nebruary 1928, which amounts to $5.00 or less, shall be subject to a flat
l0 per cent reduction, that every gas bill rendered during January and February, which
amounts ct more than $5 .O0 and less than $10.00 shall have a flat 20 per cent reduction; and that
that every gas bill rendered during the months of January and February which ~ount to more
th an $10.00 shall have a flat 25 per cent reduction; PROVIDED, that these gas bills so dis-
counted shall be paid in full on or before Narch 15, 1928.

The City Planning Commission appeared before the Commission ~nd urged the passage
and adoption of the proposed Planning and Zoning Ordin~uce as prepared by Mr G S Rogers.
After considerable discussion the City Attorney was instructed to revise the ordinance as
prepared by Mr Rogers so as to con~orm to the law and submit at the next meeting of the
City Commissio~.
There being no fumther business the meetirg adjourned,to meet March 5, 192~
