A DeCottes, letter to us of March 2nd. , we are today crediting.,~. ~ your account with $203.077.00 being proceeds of sigh~ draft dated March 2, 1928 on ,,.~ght, ;~arlow & Company for $201,000.00 plus $2,077.00 acczued interest at the rate of 6% per annum from January 1st, 1928 to date. City Clei submitted Revised Supplement No. I to Official Document A-2 showing method of disbursing proceeds of $201,000 Refinancing Bonds of an issue of $261,000.00 which was approved. It was unanimously ordered that $2,0yy.00 of the proceeds derived from the sale of $205,000.00 City of Sanford, Florida 6% Refunding Bonds, on deposit in the Bond Fund of the City of Sanford, Florida at the interest on $201,000.00 at 6% from January to the Interest Account. The Clerk was directed to mail out checks delivered to him by the Hutton Con- struction Company to list of creditors furnished by the Hutton Construction Company. The Clerk was instructed that contemporaneously with the delivery of ~ty of Sanford Check Nc.lO60 drawn on the Sanford Atlantic National Bank in the sum of $1y9,224.60 to secure from the Sanford Atlantic National Bank, marked cancelled and paid, Bond Trustees Warrants numbers 4190,~221, ~28~ and ~300 The Clerk submitted state~ nt received from the Atlantic National Bank of Jacksonville, Florida, showing a bs.lance of Sy,6~Y.50 still remaining the Bond and Coupon Redemption Account at the Atlantic National Bank of Jacksonville, Florida, this amoun~ ~eprcsenti~4 Bonds and Interest Coupons due January l, 1928, which have not yet been presented for redemption. Chairman. ~lerk: CITY COMMISSION, SANFORD, FLORIDA, MINUTES Adjourned Session ~arch 5th at ~ P ~ The Oity Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida met in adjourned session at the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida at ~ P N. Narch 5, 1928 Present: Commissioner E F Housholder (Nayor) " Frank L ~ille= City"Attorney George A DeCottee. City Nanager, George H Cairns City Clerk F S Lamso~ Absent: Commissioner , S 0 Chase. Nr Clarence Smith appeared before the City Commission and presented an assignment of all moneys due or hereafter to become due him under his contract to renovate and re- build the Old Fire Station located on Palmetto Ave. Said assignment being in favor of the Sanford Atlantic National Bank, to whom he stated he wanted to deliver a copy of said assignment, and requested the City to execute receipt of copy, advising the Sanford Atlantic National bank , that the City of Sanford would pay all money that would accrue under the said contract to the Sanford Atlantic Natioral Bank. Thereupon, it was unanimously ordered that the Nayor and the City Clerk sign the re- ceipt and acknowledgment as requested by Nr Smith, and the Clerk was instructed to deliver the original assignment to the Ss~uford Atlantic National Bank. City Clerk presented copy of proposed Planning and Zoning Ordinance as prepared and recommended by the City Planning Commission and revised by the City Attorney. Action on same was deferred until later. It was unanimously orderd that the sum of $2,000.00 be appropriated from the Contingent Fund and applied to the credit of the Contingent Litigation and Audit Account and the City Clerk was instructed to have this amount set up on the books of the City as an addition appropriation to the Contingent Litigation and Audit Account. It was unanimously ordered that the sa~lary of Tax Collector, Ellen Hoy,be increased to $2400.00 per annum, effective as of Narch l, 1928. There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
