Regular Meeting opened by the Chairman and minutes of Adjourned/Meeting of March 27th Adjuttrned meeting of March 29th. Adjourned Nesting of April 4th and Adjourned Meeting of April 5th, 1928 rea~d and approved. DelEgation from the Parent Teachers Association of Sanford appeared, reGuesting that the regular license tax o£ $25.00 per d~y charged for ~he Chautauqua, be cancelled, on accountL of the educational features. After considerable discussiou, the Commission decided that its previous decision could not be altered, and that the t~x would have to be paid. Co~issioner Eiller offered ~ resolution, which was unanimously adopted, thzt an appropriatiou of $250.00 be n~de to help defray the cost of an electric sign advertising San£ord, to be erected at the intersection of the DeL~nd Road with West First Street. Same to be charged to the Publicity Fund. The City Clerk was instructed to immediately draw a check for s~ue, to be made payable to L J Bolt. On motion duly adopted, the City Attorney was authorized to immediately institute suit on all delinquent Tax Certificates of over two years standing, for foreclosure, in accordance with the provisions of Section 93 of the City Charter. Report of the City ~an~ger for the month of March 1928 was submitted and ordered filed. Current bills and salaries as audited and voushered by the Accounting Department were submitted, examined and ~pproved and the Clerk authorized to draw checks to pay same. B~nk Statements from the First National Bank and Sanford Atlantic National Bsnk, City DepoSitories, for the month of March 1928 were submitted and ordered filed. On motion duly adopted, the following 192?
