Mr A Menchew appeared before the Commission with reference to the orange grove at the
Qolf Course, requesting permission to work and fertilize the grove for a period of five
years, commencing Sept 1, 1928, during which time he would Oe allowed, &s his compeneatiom,
the oranges produced, including the crop mmturing on the fifth year. The City &greeizg to sell
the grove to Mr Menchew at the end of that period &t a price to be a~reedu~on at that time.
Upon motion duly adopted this proposition was ~gre~d to, and the City Attorney in-
structed to draw up contract.
