The City Commission of the City of Sanford Florida met in regular session
at the City Hall in Sanford Florida at 2 O'Clock P N September lC, 1928.

Upon motion duly adopted,
dated April l, 1919, for 1917 City

the accrued interest against T~x Certificate No 50,
of Sanford Real Estate Taxes, and also on tax certificate
No 37 dated February 1, 1920 for 1918 City of Sanfore Real Estate Taxes, both certificates
being issued against Lot ll Blk 5 Tier 3, Sanford, Florida, was ordered cancelled, and the
Clerk was instructed to notify the Clerk of the Circuit Court to accept the payment of the
face of the certificates without requiring the payment of any interest.
:~ The Florida Power and Light Company offered to purchase of the City of Sanford,
Florida two bonds of series A-1 issue, par value $1,OOQ.O0 each at and for
with accrued interest to date of delivery, making a total of $2000.00
The Florida Power & Light Company also offered to give in lieu of cash for the above
two bonds, credit against the City,s account of $2083.64 to the extent of $2000.00, and also
agreed to discount the balance of the bill, amounting to $83.64, in full.
Thereupon, in view of the fact that the balance of the account of the Florida Power
and Light Company is included in Official Refinancing Document A-l, and in view of the fact
that bonds of the issue A-1 are to be sold to meet the obligations included in Official
Document A-1. Commissioner Miller made the motion which unanimously prevailed, that the offer
of the Florida Power & Light Company be accepted.
Mr Fred T Williams next appeared before the Commission and offered to purchase of
the City of Sanford One bond of the series A-1 par value $1,000.00 at, and for the sum of
$1,000.00 with accrued interest to date of delivery.
Mr Fredt Williams also offered to give in lieu of cash for the above bond, credit
against the City's account of $1647.05 to the extent of $1,000.O0
Mr Fred Williams also offered to discount the balance of his bill $147.05 provided
the City would pay in cash $500.00 at once, the bond to be delivered when executed.
Thereupon , in view of the fact that the balance of the account of Mr F T Williams
is included in Official Refinancing Douument A-1 , and in view of the fact that bonds of
the A-1 issue are to be sold to meet the obligations included in Official Document A-~.
Commissioner Miller made the motion, which unanimously prevailed, that the offer of Nr
~Wllliams be accepted, ~nd the Clerk was instructed to draw check at once for $500.00 on the
Refinancing Bond Fund at the Sanford Atlantic National Bank in favor of Mr Williams, the bond
to be delivered as soon as executed.
-~ Invoices and payrolls for the month of August 1928, duly vouchered by the Accounting
Department, were submitted, approved and the Clerk instructed to draw checks in payment for
