The City Commission of the City of Sanford Florida, met in regular session at
the City Hall in Sanford, Florida at 3 P ~ October ~, 1928.
Present: Commissioner E F Housholder, ~ayor.

and examined.
Financial Statement and statement of revenue and expenditures for the month of
September 1928 submitted and examined.
Report of City ~[anager for the month of September 192~ submitted
Current invoices and payrolls for the month of September 1928, properly
audited and vouchered by the Account i~ Department ~ere submitted, examined , ~proved and
the Clerk instructed to draw checks in payment thereof.
City ~danager presented letter from Hr N C Farnsworth requesting Er Mm Dickinson
25~0 Sanford Ave. the right to attach to the sewer running through his property, without
charge,

Thereupon, Co~nmissioner 5{iller moved that the rules be waived and said ordinanc~
be placed upon its second reading.
Thereupon , the vote recurred on the waivure of the rules. Those voting for

Thereupon the Chairman of the Cou'~nission announced that the Co~nission by
its unanimous vote had passed and adopted said Ordinance No. 155 entitled:

Thereupon Commissioner i,lillsr moved that the rules be waived, and the said
ordinance be placed upon its second reading.
Thereupon the vote recurred on the waivure of the rules. Those votirg
for the waivure of the rules bei~: Co;mmissione~ Frank L i,liller and Commissioner E F
Housholder.
Thereupon Commissioner Killer moved that the said ordinance be placed upon its
second reading and final passage, and the said ordinance be read ir. full.
Thereupon said ordinance was read in full by the Clerk. The roll was teken on
the fiual passage and adoption of .,.~d ordinance. Those voting for the final oassage
and adoption bei=g: Commissioner Frank L Miller and Conm~issioner E F Housholdez
Thereupon the Chairman of the Commission anno-~ued that the Co~mission by its
unanimous voted had passed and adopted said Ordinance No. 153 entitled.:
"An Ordinance imposi~g Certain Occupational License Taxes in the City of $anford
Florida."
City Manager presented letter received from Fire Chief Cleveland, Re: necessity for
about 20 new fire hydrants to replace old ones.
Matter referred to City Manager to investigate the possibility of utilizing
fire hydrants heretofore placed in various subdivisions but not needed the~e.
Payment of i$~.00 each, authorized to C D Couch, Mike Wilson and C.Chorpening
for Special Services performed in connection with taking the City Census Oct ?. 192~.
