The 0ity Commission of the City of Sanford Florida met in adjourned session
the City Hall, Sanford, Florida ~ctober 26th at 2 O'Clock P M 1928.

The City Olerk was instructed to write
the Board of County Commissioners of
Seminole County Florida, requesting that in view of the fact that the amount due the City
from the County an the State Road and Bridge Fund has been checked and found to be
$12,109.46 that the Board of County Commissioners will authorize this amount to be paid
to the City immediately after their next regular meeting , to be held November 6, 1928.
Commissioner Frank L Miller offered the following resolution which was unani-
mously adopted:
WHEREAS, a Primary Election has been called for November 6th. 1928 for the
purpose of nominating three candidates to be voted upon at the General Election fox
three Comnissioners, said election to be held the First Tuesday after the first Monday in
December 1928, and,
WHYS, only the required number of candidates have qualified for ~said
Frimary Election, to-wit: Group l, Vivian Speer; Group No2 - R A Newman; Group No.3
Nelson Gray.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that in view of the fact that the necessity for said
Primary Election no longer exists, that said Primary Election be not held and that Vivian
Speer be designated as the regular nominee in Group No. 1 ; R A Newman in Group No. 2 and
Nelson Gray in Group No. 3 for the Regular Election for City Commissioners in Groups Nos.
l, 2 and 3 to be held on the First~hesday after the first Monday in December 192~.
Upon motion duly adopted the Clerk was instructed to transfer from the Ordinary
Fund to the Bond Txustees Account, the sum of $6,000.00 and charge said sum against the amount
owed the Bond Trustees Account by the Ordinary Fund, this amount ~o be used by the Bond
Trustees Account for the purpose of paying balance due on purchase price of Lots, 2,4 and
8 Block X, St. Gertrude Addition~,Sanford, Florida to Henry Nickel , from whom the property
w~S purchased,
Upon motion duly adopted, the

from. $8.13 to $5.00 on account of over-assessment.
There being no further busim ss , the meeting adjourned to meet agaim
