the City Hall in the City of Sanford,

Meeting called to order by the Chairman.
Sanford, Florida, met in adjourned session at
Florida, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. Seotember 21,1942.
Aqtion of Board,
The Commission then resolved itself into final session es a Tax Equalization Board
to act uoon further comolsintsregistered as to assessed valuations for the year 194P,
as well as any other business which may come before it as an Equalization Board.
The foilowing action was next taken with resnect to comolaints as to valuations
presented to the Board at this meeting and other'comolalnts filed with the Clerk since
the meeting of July 29th.

There being no further comolalnts or objections registered as to valuations on
the 1942 tax roll, the Board then aooroved the valuations on such roll as set by the
Tax Assessor and adjourned as an Equalization Board.
Aoplication next received from Lee Gibson to ourchase Lot 3, Block 13 Tier A, Trafford's
aao, at aorice of $1oO.00~ offering to nay $50.00 cash,$25.00 on October 3, 1942 and balance
$12.50 monthly, This orooerty having been acquired by the City thru foreclosure of tax
liens.
Thereupon after careful consideration, Commissioner Gut moved that the City sell
Lee Gibson the aforesaid prooerty at a ortce of $1OO.00, subject to City taxes for
year 1942 and all unoaid State and County taxes, ~ayable $50.00 cssh, $25.OO on October

Aoo!Icatlon ne~t received from Ida Conyers to purchase Lot 6 Holden Real Estate Co.
Addition at a orlce of $11~.33, subject to City taxes for year 1942, and all unpaid
State and County taxes, this property having been acquired by the City thru foreclosure of ts
liens, and on motion of Commissioner Gut, seconded by Co~missloner Lodge and carried,
same was authorized.
Un motion duly carried, the Commission ne×t authorized the following sales to the
original owners, of properties acquired by the City thru foreclosure of tax liens
prices representing the amount of the City's liens against maid properties, under the
adjusted basis if applicable, plus foreclosure costs, ~ub~act to City ia×es for year
1942 and alt unpaid State and County ~axes:

the amount of the City's liens against this property under the adjusted basle, olua
foreclosure costs, payable $~0.00 cash $25.00 on October 10,1947 and balance $10.00
monthly, he having owned tnls property before the City acquired it thru foreclosure of taxes
and special assessment liens.
Thereupon on motion duly carried, the Commission authorized the sale of the aforesaid
property to Early Hall at a orlce of $148.69 , subject to City taxes for year 1942 and
all unpaid State and county taxes, payable on the terms as outlined above with interest
at 8~ on the unpaid balance.
On motion duly carried, Commissioners Gu~ and Hlg~Ins were next authorized to confer
with the Federal Works Agency in Jacksonville with respect to securing Federal a~sistance
for the construction of additional water supply for the City, the expenses in connection
with the trip to be borne by the City.
